Sales Engineer (Oklahoma)

We are currently accepting resumes for Sales Engineer (Pressure Management Operations).  This position may be located in the Tulsa or Oklahoma City area.  

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:

This position will be responsible for onboarding, maintaining and developing our existing book of business with our buying customer base.  They will use their technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide technical advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.   

This position will assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new clients, from a technical perspective, and are the key point of contact during the onboarding process forward.   They will liaise with all members of the sales and engineering teams and need to be an excellent communicator and problem solver.

The position will follow a highly documented sales process and will also be responsible for tracking the success metrics that were outlined by the customer during their onboarding phase in the sales process.

Typical work activities Include:

  • Working with customer’s technical teams to make sure the correct process is followed during the onboarding process
  • Drive product compliance and maximize client potential in designated regions
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Provide on-site technical support services when support is required
  • Track customer’s defined success metrics and provide internal feedback to Oseco sales team and external feedback to customer’s senior managers
  • Arrange and conduct product trainings in office and on jobsites
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets clients’ needs
  • Meet or Exceed regular sales targets and Implementation plans
  • Help in the design of custom made products

Experience Required:

  • One to three years of technical sales experience
  • Four-year degree – Engineering or Technical background preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate selling techniques
  • Ability to calculate percentages, discounts, interest, proportions
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret Scientific Journals, Financial reports, and legal documents
  • Good Microsoft office skills (word, excel & Outlook)

Experience Desired:

  • Energy or Oilfield background preferred
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision under specific time constraints

Essential Duties:

  • Hands-on, technical resource responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing customer base ensuring continued or expanded sales of product portfolio.
  • Responsible for onboarding new customers by following standard operating procedures for product installation and steady state use.
  • Work closely within assigned territory with Pressure Management Consultants (PMC) to efficiently address customer’s maintenance and operational questions, troubleshooting and implementing prescribed fixes, both remotely and on-site.
  • Conduct product demonstrations allowing customers to experience product benefits. Support short and long-term contract deliverables, tracking metrics to develop appropriate terms for contract renewal.
  • Assist PMCs in contract creation and delivery, developing profitable terms that are beneficial to the owner and their service companies.
  • Effectively track and manage product inventory.
