The Oseco PCR is a cross-scored, reverse-buckling rupture disc. Reversal occurs when the disc reaches the rated pressure and it opens along the score lines. Since there are no knife blades, the flow is unrestricted.
The PCR is excellent for relief valve isolation (gas/vapor service) and excels in extreme cycling or high vacuum/back pressure applications.
- Sizes 1" through 12"
- Standard materials are 316 Stainless Steel, Iconel®-600, Monel®-400, and Nickel-200/201. For highly corrosive applications, fluoropolymer liners are available on the process side of the PCR rupture disc.

- Commonly used in SF6 switchgear
- Excellent service life in high-cycle applications
- Excellent for vacuum service without an additional vacuum support
- Non-fragmenting design
- Excellent service life in applications operating up to 90% of the rated burst pressure
- Non-torque sensitive
- Burst tolerance:±5% for disc ratings > 40 psig, ±2 psig for discs rated ≤ 40 psig
- If damaged or installed incorrectly, the PCR will fail at a maximum of 1.5 times its rated pressure when the disc is free vented.
